Last night was a GREAT interval workout for the group and I, 4x 1mile OUCH. Instead of the classic flat run or track for intervals we did something different. I threw in a little hill at the end of the interval. So it was mile repeats Ultra style.
For an audio reference this is the sound going thru my head as we started each interval:

The above link is the song from a movie soundtrack, but can you name the actual song?

The repeats hurt, but those are my favorite workouts -short and to the point with a purpose. Good times!
ReplyDeleteFun fun fun!!! Anything that involves running to a "glowing stick" is good times in my book!
ReplyDeleteThe glowing stick did make things more interesting. It was like chasing a lightning bug, especially on the first hill when suddenly all I could see was the light getting higher and higher...
ReplyDeleteI'm glad everyone like it. What about the song???
ReplyDeleteJust got back from Foresthill/Suger Pine area. There is a LOT of snow, I can't remmebr the last time I saw so much snow that low.

I don't know the actual name other than The Siege of Camylarde . . . but it reminds me of another song from one of those scary movies that of course I can't remember the name to. I unforunately had "froggy goes a courting" in my head last night.
